Looks like the family is also connected to the murder of some gay school-mate of the sons.
And, looks like the father had the house-keeper killed so he could scam an insurance settlement.

Jury might be going to the crime scene.
He lied about not being at the crime scene that night. He only admitted after his voice was on the tape.
Guy basically lied to everyone around him for different reasons. Why anyone on the jury would believe him at all would shock me but as already mentioned on this forum it only takes one juror.

The judge has ruled that jurors in Alex Murdaugh’s murder trial in the shooting deaths of his wife and son will get to visit the South Carolina home where the killings took place.
Murdaugh jury left the area near the dog kennels at Moselle and they are now in a wooded area on the opposite side of the street from Moselle. They went into the trees — unclear what they are looking at.
I just watched this on netflix. What a fall. Fired from the practice that his grandfather founded. His gig was up after his son's boating accident became a national story. That might be the motive right there. If that didn't happen he'd still be scamming. I don't think we will see a hung jury her.
Killers use there own guns. Period!
